Hotspot: Take Five Espressobar (Ghent)

Sinds oktober is Gent alweer een gezellige koffiebar rijker! Take Five Espressobar vind je terug in de Volderstraat en is niet te missen indien je nood hebt aan een lekkere koffie in een gezellige setting. Naast koffie biedt Take Five ook heerlijke huisgemaakte limonades aan en lekkere theetjes aan.
Als je er dan toch bent, vergeet dan zeker niet te proeven van de heerlijke taartjes die je aan de toog zal tegenkomen. Deze lekkernijen zijn aan de hand van Chez Mariette en volledig vegan! Ik probeerde de chocoladetaart met rode biet en die was hemels! Ik houd het alvast in mijn achterhoofd en wie weet verschijnt er hier binnenkort wel een versie van op de blog!
Als er nog een plekje vrij is aan het venster, dan raad ik je ten stelligste aan daar plaats te nemen. Het is de ideale plek om de de tijd even aan je te laten voorbijgaan terwijl je mijmerend naar de voorbij wandelende mensen kijkt Je zal merken dat je je smartphone hier helemaal niet zal missen (nadat je die ene perfecte foto op Instagram hebt gepost uiteraard. De lichtinval aan het raam is trouwens perfect voor je foto ;) ).

Since October, Ghent has welcomed a really cosy coffee bar. You'll find Take Five Espressobar in the middle of the Volderstraat and can't be missed if you're in need of a good cup of coffee in a nice environment. Besides coffee, they also serve tasty homemade lemonades and warming cups of tea.
If you're there, then don't forget to order a delicious piece of cake which you'll find at the counter. All of these sweet goods are baked by "Chez Marriete" and are 100% vegan. I've tried the chocolate cake with beetroot and it was heavenly! I'll keep this dish in the back of my head and maybe you'll see it pass on the blog!
If there's still some place left at the giant window in front of the shop, I would suggest to take a seat there. It's a very nice spot to watch the world pass by without feeling the need of constantly being on your phone (after you took your instagram picture for which the light is perfect there ;) ).
